Have the BM6A MK II`s and love them. A well respected Musicians magazine here in Norway did a test and said "Don`t even think about getting the 5A MKII`s" and "Save up for the 6A`s instead" or something like that. They loved the BM 6 and did not like the BM 5 as much. I was surprised that there would be such a difference really.

There seems to be a lot of negative feedback about the bm6a mk2's! but i havent heard bad things about the 5a's mk2! I actually got a pair of bm5a's mk2 about a month ago! i heard the mk1 at the store and got them to order me the mk2's. unfortunatly when i wanted to test both side by side, they had sold the last pair of mk1's. so its hard to say how different they sound.

It seems that this mk2 version is using a larger 7" bass and should improve the performance. Also at Dynaudio website it says that the BM5A mk2 uses a new esotec D281 tweeter. Btw, the drivers are not aluminum, but the voice coils are, as always with Dynaudio. Somehow this looks even better than the bm6a mk2.
