The extremely smooth and incredibly detailed high frequency reproduction characteristic of Dynaudio is guaranteed by the all-new T 380 soft-dome tweeter, which features the new Esotec+ technology. For the upper-range in the Focus 220, this called for the employment of Neodymium – one of the most efficient but also most expensive magnetic ...

Dynaudio Focus 220 Mk II review | What Hi-Fi?

    https://www.whathifi.com/dynaudio/focus-220-mk-ii/review
Verdict. These Dynaudios are very fine speakers; all they lack is a little star quality. They’re well worth a listen, though. We tested the original version of the Focus 220 back in 2006. They were fine speakers, but lacked a little sparkle. Dynaudio has retuned the bass port, and tidied up the cosmetics a little for this Mk II version.

Dynaudio Focus 220 vs. Focus 220 II vs. Focus 140

    https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/dynaudio-focus-220-vs-focus-220-ii-vs-focus-140
I'd never listen Focus Mk II but if Dynaudio has removed the principal weakness of the F220 Mk I 220 - imho boomy low bass - Focus 220 mk II would be even more interesting than the COntour S 3.4 which is not so warm as the Focus line.

Dynaudio Focus 220 or Audience 122? | What Hi-Fi? Forum

    https://forums.whathifi.com/threads/dynaudio-focus-220-or-audience-122.102423/
The Focus 220 is a warm and big sounding speaker. It has really accurate and punchy bass response, combined with a large soundstage and really warm midrange. The tweeter is excellent, but less extened as in the Excite range, but still very detailed and never sounding harsh or artificial.

Dynaudio Focus 220 vs Gallo Ref 3 - AudioReview

I have long been a Dynaudio fan, especially of the discontinued Contour 1.8mk II, for which the Focus 220 is the contemporary replacement. Great imaging, very natural tonal presentation, tight, tuneful bass, crsip, airy highs, and a natural midrange balance. Check out a very favorable review in the Absolute Sound that appeared about 5-6 months ago.
