AUDIO_TS isn't required. It was created at the time of the DVD standard for some future audio format that would use DVD discs. That format ended up being DVD Audio. AUDIO_TS is always empty unless you have a DVD Audio disc. I've never personally used a DVD player that required this to be present for the disc to work.
