    Media Player- DVD sound produces static When I try and play a DVD in media player, the video is fine but the sound track comes through as loud static. This happens only on DVD's. I can play music cd's without a problem. The DVD's play fine on my regular dvd player on my TV. The problem seem to be in the audio reproduction of a DVD in Media Player.
