There IS a way to play the alternate audio track in WMP, though it's not as straightforward as VLC. When playing the file, pause> Press Ctrl+M to bring up the classic menu> Click the 'Play' tab on top> Audio & language> Choose track> Press Ctrl+3 to hide menu> Enjoy!. Hope this helped.

Installed the v2.73 build 1083, the last update from K-Lite CP, and can't change the audio options of all my videos .mkv ou not (all extensions) dual audio. Everytime I have to open in Media Player Classic (it sucks) to be able to change the audio. Guess I'll have to install an old version, like 1.85, more stable and with that option allowed.

I'm running dual monitors with Media Player Classic because it's the best when it comes down to movies with subtitles. I use VLC and GOM player for non subtitled videos and they work fine when I watch a movie while playing a game on the other screen.
