I use the ViewHD HDMI Audio Extractor VHD-H2HARC and it works great. Only word of caution is this only streams AC3 and DTS - not EAC3 and TrueHD. Good for me because my receiver can only handle AC3. Bad part is the Shield does not have AC3 codecs native, so anything broadcast in EAC3 or TrueHD will not down convert to AC3 natively.
