    I suppose that because stereo can be selected that your card has an MSP chip or you did set up the wrong card in DScaler. If you enable "Automatic stereo adjustment", the audio will switch to stereo and mono automatically depending audio signal present. If you disable this mono/stereo should not be changed.

    I believe i have the same card as the original poster. The Audio on this card (asus) is passed through internally. SageTV does this perfectly, it shows picture and sound without any passthrough cable. However for some reason I cannot get it to work on Dscaler. here's the devices in system : conexant 23880 video capture (blackbird NTSC Dual-Input)

    I have Hauppauge WinTV-PCI (LG TPI8PSB11D [PAL B/G]) and the new DScaler 4.1.10 is live and kicking pretty fine with DScaler's own drivers! Compared to the "old" 4.1.8 version (I used WDM drivers at that time), picture quality is IMO a lot better now.
