        I suppose that because stereo can be selected that your card has an MSP chip or you did set up the wrong card in DScaler. If you enable "Automatic stereo adjustment", the audio will switch to stereo and mono automatically depending audio signal present. If you disable this mono/stereo should not be changed.

        I'm using the dscaler5 video decoder in Vista MC for LiveTV. I'm using the nvidia audio decoder though: dscaler5 audio decoder doesn't show up even if I force it using the various standard methods and apps. This might be something I'm screwing up as I'm still getting to grips with vista and MCE.
