    It uses Quicktime to play back the video files and I think this is where my problem lies. Under XP I use *.m2v files (mpeg2) and their audio in a separate file *.ac3 (Doldy digital) and play back is 100% with audio. Under Windows 7 I do the same thing but Quicktime does not play back the ac3 audio (video is perfect).
