L-Adapter | diyAudio

It has 1 pre tube and 2 power tubes for one channel. It can run anything between 1.5V and 20V for enough Amps of current. Because heaters will be a constant load you can predict your trafo, your ripple loss, and your sinking scheme pretty accurately. 3A at 6.3V is four EL84s plus a couple of drivers is surely doable.

That's my diy principle too. I was inspired by your Zen amp and designed an MOSFET based amp along that line. It sounds very relax. Simple circuit suffers less from the noise/distortion generated by the extra circuits. Thus more music details can be heard. And I don't need lot of power to be satisfied..

The well known cheap Ebay TFT LCD screens from China usually come without audio. Here's a cheap and fast way of adding audio. Total costs are about $8.00 but when using 1 speaker instead of 2 it's only $4.00. Recently I purchased the well known 7 inch screen from a HK seller. It was only $28 but it comes with 2 video inputs and no audio.

Car Audio Lithium battery (DIY?) - RC Groups

    https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?2934944-Car-Audio-Lithium-battery-%28DIY-%29
The advantage of lithium is the power potential and obviously weight. A typical Group 31 XSPower battery is 65lbs each, and considering you usually have to run multiples it gets heavy! I figured there had to be some kind of black magic or flat out lies to charge $3K for ONE lithium car audio battery! Aug 07, 2017, 04:03 PM.
