Disgaea 3 is the most recent strategy rpg presented by Nippon Ichi Software, and is the first game of theirs to be released for the Playstation 3. There's new stuff as well, such as additional sidestories and 4 new characters that weren't in the ps3 version, including 2 from Disgaea 4. Human generics now have their own unique skills.

I've already played Disgaea 1 & 2, a lot of us have, these games have been out for a long time on multiple platforms and are easily the most assessible Disgaea games. It's great that Disgaea is finally coming to PC, the platform seems perfect for these types of games and I hope it's a good port and does well. What I want to know is if Disgaea 3, 4, or 5 will ever come to PC?

Disgaea D2 has never been re-released, and Disgaea 3 got a re-release on the Vita. I honestly don't think the original Disgaea 3's ever gonna be re-released, because the sprite work is...lacking. BUT!!! I don't think an HD remake of the game is off the table yet. If things get better for NIS, we might just get Disgaea 3 on Steam!
