If you want the audio synched, reconnect your system thus. From HR24 to Denon, HDMI. Set the Denon HDMI assign to strip audio from HDMI and send it to "amp". From Denon to TV, HDMI. No audio will be available on TV. The Denon delay system will be available to sync the audio, but I'd suspect that the default setting will be fine.
