    The only thing that can correct sync automatically is to insert a sort of "sync watermark" into both the video and audio bitstreams and this would guarantee sync no matter what happened to the two signals on the way to your TV. This is what the tech broadcast people are considering but I expect it will be years before we see this happen.

    The audio is not synchronized to the video. I know this is a very common problem, but this is insane. I just had my H21 replaced with the same unit by a service technician. It was fine for about 3 hours before the audio started to fall out of sync with the video again. After it falls out of sync, it stays out of sync for all HD or non-HD channels.

    I just started a trial DirecTV subscription. Sound and video go out of sync (only on CBS as far as I can figure). I've tried exiting and coming back in, and that sometimes fixes it. Also, this evening there were several instances of the screen and sound going blank for 5 seconds and then picking up where it left off.
