devede_avconv_convert.py and commenting out the append of the -newaudio switch by changing the line command_var.append("-newaudio") to #command_var.append("-newaudio") Since I was using ffmpeg, the same modification applied to the file devede_ffmpeg_convert.py. After the change, DVDs by devede were instantly successful!
