I've upgraded a Dell XPS 14 (xps 14 l421) with a new SSD and installed windows 10. Since doing so it does not recognise the sound card. There is a little X down in the corner ontop of the sound icon. There are no audio devices installed and DXDIAG states that there is no sound card. Windows 10 has installed it's usual drivers.

Hi Guys, I ahve a Dell XPS M1330 laptop and a fresh install of Windows 7 RC1 x64. After install I can hear no sound from speakers and see "HD Audio Device " in Device Manager. When i install the dell Vista x64 SigmaTel audio drivers on Windows 7, my cpu goes to 100% whenever i listen to music or play a video.
