    I have to differ more to the negative here. I read 2 books of the main Requiem trilogy and DNF'd the prequel about 2/3rds through. The positives are that Zindell has some very good sci fi concepts and there are stretches of excellent prose in some sections, particularly those involving space travel or other uses of the advanced technologies in the books.
