Well Cyberlink has just lost one of their customers. I went back to my store and exchange powerdvd 9 for Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre Platinum and it works great, no sound problems. I know the laptop speakers are crap but I can listen to music and watch videos online without any problem so it really has to be isolated down to software/blu ray audio. I don't know if this is a movie to movie issue but I could barely hear the actors voices while watching Watchmen. My settings are set to 2 speaker stereo with the volume at 100%.
