Did you ever manage to resolve this “unexpected error” when exporting? When attempting to export a mixdown of one of my tracks as a “wave” file I’m having the same issues - with a clean install of Cubase 7.0.5!!! When I try to export as an “mp3”, the screen flickers briefly and nothing happens.

The GREEN track shows the audio file when I use "Render in Place" - which still works perfectly. However, the RED track shows the audio file when I have used File/Export/Audio Mixdown. Note that the length has decreased from 18 seconds to 16.5 seconds, the pitch has gone up, and the tempo has gone from 120bpm to approximately 118 bpm.

I'm trying to export a song, but keep getting errors. I have tried exporting as an MPEG or Wave file, and keep getting a popup saying "Unexpected Error". I've also noticed that I no longer have the ability to vary the quality/size of an MPEG when exporting, that's too bad. But right now, I'd just love to be able to export anything at all!
