Update DVD/CD-ROM drives drivers through Device Manager manually and check if it helps. a) Open run command by pressing Windows key + R and type “devmgmt.msc” (without quotes) and hit Enter. b) Spot and expand the “ DVD/CD-ROM drives ”. c). Right click on the network driver and select “Update Driver Software”.

Audio CD's not playing I have a self-built comfuser w/an ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 motherboard, using the onboard audio & running 10 Pro 64Bit. When I put either a CD/DVD in my optical drive, I don't have any problems reading documents, opening pictures & videos or starting .exe files, but for some reason audio files will not play.
