Sound problems!!! I have been having audio problems between my Xfinity X1 DVR box and my TV. The TV is a Sony Bravia KDL-55EX640 with 4 HDMI inputs. The DVR is hooked up to HDMI input 1 using an HDMI cable that I already owned. It wasn't a cheap one and might be slightly longer than the standard cables given out with the DVRs.

It's most likely an issue that will be fixed in a future software release. But for now, your best bet is to not use HDMI to deliver audio. You can use the optical cable or a composite cable instead.
