In MCC itβs a little different. In MCC your Audio Log progress is saved in solo play, but in a co-op session it always resets all 30 Audio Logs regardless of who is hosting or how many each player has collected. If you collect some, leave the session, then continue later all of them will reset.

Definitely do this solo though or you won't be able to get the audio log on Data Hive. If you co-op'd the audio logs you'll have to pick them up again solo. Link to comment

Co-OP audio logs are weird as hell. It doesnt save when you go to the main menu even if you continue. And you don't have to play the whole game. Start up Mombasa cp 4 on easy get all 29 and then back out go to data hive cp 2.

As far as I'm aware you'll need to do the whole game from start to finish in one sitting if you want to get everything in co-op. Alternatively, if the player hosting the game has already collected all the audio logs in single player then all players will experience the alternate stuff.
