            - Maintain Audio Pitch. - De-Interlace 1080i and DV sources. - Resize Video: 1920x1080. "...I shoot 1080i, capturing with cineform is avi 29.97 de-interlaced, set to high, only..." So then you're editing in 29.97 Progressive timeline. My finish movie is to be on Blu-ray disc 1920x1080 24P. So is it better to do it your way?

Why Apple is Dropping Cineform and DNx and How It Affects You

            https://nofilmschool.com/2018/11/why-apple-dropping-cineform-and-dnx-final-cut
Cineform and DNx are technically competitors to (and inspirations for) the ProRes workflow, so it makes sense that Apple might not work extra hard to support them in Final Cut Pro. But Apple doesn't say that "Final Cut" won't support Cineform and DNx. It says that a future MacOS won't support DNx and Cineform.

No audio (in Premiere) after converting - GoPro Forum

            https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/goprouser/no-audio-in-premiere-after-converting-t12623.html
I'm using the GoPro Cineform Studio to clip and convert to avi before editing in Premiere Pro CS6. Premiere Pro (CS6 and CS5.5) is no longer reading the audio in the converted avi files. The audio curve turns up flat in Premiere and no audio is playing. If I play the same avi file in e.g. Windows Mediaplayer outside Premiere the audio plays fine.

I use that to edit UHD footage from the Atomos Shogun in 10bit 422 - what is maintained also in the Cineform codec since Vegas is able to decode Cineform with 10bit. The tool that I use to transcode the clips is TMPGenc - what works fine if the Shogun footage is shoot with 16..235 with my GH4.
