Chrome has not implemented the part about allowing the latency to go below "interactive". For OSX, the buffer size used to be 128 * 2 but was increased to 256 * 2 because it made webrtc sound bad. (Buffer size too small for webrtc.)

It only happens in google chrome. I'm using the audio card "Asus Xonar DX". To "fix" this i've added the parameter --audio-buffer-size=2048 and it seems to mostly work. I didn't have this problem on windows 8.1 though.
