Since the ST2 is part of the DV stream, Vegas IS capturing it. What it's doing with it after capture is your problem. My guess is that Vegas is tranferring that stream into the computer and saving it as a DV-AVI Type 2 file. And as such, it is probably putting IT'S preference for what should go into that duplicated audio stream--ST1.
