try installing it on this way... 1. open device manager. you may go to start >> run, type-in devmgmt.msc 2. look for your sound card, that would have the yellow punctuation mark since it dont have driver yet. 3. right click it, choose "update driver" then browse where you saved your downloaded driver.

So I used Driver Robot to find drivers for me and I installed all the driver I found except this Multimedia Audio Controller (AC97 Realtek). This was after installing the UAA driver as per the long list of driver instructions on your list.So to sum up, the first chipset driver installed ok, but I could not get a link to the next graphices driver so I skipped it , and the next audio driver dnloaded ok ( from the asia-giogabyte site) and this was the UAA driver at 47270 KB.
