Here is how I fixed the sound issue: In windows 10 right click on the windows speaker icon in the icon tray on the bottom right corner of your task bar, select "Sounds". On the playback tab go to the Default Device, right click on it and choose configure speakers. Next choose 5.1 Surround. Then click Next a few times and Finish.
