Switching the Windows soundsettings from 7.1 to 5.1 solved the problem, no need to switch down to stereo. i got audio blackouts after the apache (grey wolf) chase episode and it happened on the next one as well, had to close the game, its not fun with no audio, currently using a 5.1 Surround from logitech.
