Discussion Starter · #1 · Aug 1, 2012. All, I just installed a BT35-HON in a 2007 Odyssey with NAV and RES. Every once in a while the sound gets choppy like it cuts out every few seconds. The only way we have found to correct this is to unregister the BT35 and re-add it. This happens with my iPhone 3GS and my Wife's iPhone 4.

I installed the BT35-HON yesterday into my 2006 Pilot EX-L/Nav. Install was smooth and the device is working as advertised. Once I plugged everything in and turned everything on my iPhone4 detected the BT35 Bluetooth device and automatically connected. Upon receiving a call, the BT35 unit will also play a generic ring tone over your speakers before announcing the phone number (you can turn off the announcement of the # according to the manufacturer. I didn't bother to look). It does lag though, on picking up the call to the caller hearing you. I'd say 3-5 seconds.

I'm certain the oem nav microphone is actually electrically compatible with the bt35, and I suspect would have better sound quality. My homelink is a non-nav unit though - I haven't decided yet whether to hack in the bt35 mic, or to put in some other electret capsule.
