BS PLAYER No SOUND ON INC AVI FILES I just downloaded the BS player BSplayer [version 0.86.501] that came with the Kazaa Lite. It used to play imcomplete files so I could check out what I was downloading. I got both sound and video. Now with this newer version I only get the video and no sound. If I use it on a complete AVI movie it works great.

If DivX decoder filter interacts and doesn't play well your AVI files, either assign MPEG4 to DivX decoder or to ffdshow. For example, open XviD properties and check the boxes for all MPEG4 and instead loading DivX decoder, BSPlayer will use XviD decoder, which, at least for me works OK with all avi MPEG4 files. I have BSplayer 2.4 installed. It plays avi files which contains AC3 sound as audio file only. Other files seems to be ok.

I never used to have this problem until recently. WMV files will play in BS player, the video works fine, but no audio. When I play these WMV files in Windows Media Player or VLC player, both audio and video works fine. Does anybody know what's going on?
