Trooper1270: I'm not an audio engineer (by any stretch of the imagination), but I believe the volume differences between the various different sound channels are down to more sound channels (5.1, 7.1 etc) being broadcast, but are not being fed through a supporting amplifier for the correct amount of channels, but rather a two channel/stereo amp in your case.

The complaints about the audio quality on the televised broadcast were going viral tonight on social media. It has been terrible for years now and I find it amazing the school hasn't corrected it. I wouldn't want to run an organization that puts such a low quality product out every time they go to air.

Audio is important though. I agree that some are awful. La Salle's is pretty bad. The VCU thing is an issue and has been for years. It is a low-grade buzz in the audio. As someone above mentioned, they drop the audio levels to attempt to lower the buzzing but that does not resolve the issue.

Whenever I select the Nvidia Broadcast webcam in applications as the webcam to use, the audio will start to cracke/pop. I don't mean my mic, but any kind of audio playing through my speakers such as a youtube video, discord chat, etc.. As soon as I switch back to the standard version of the webcam, it goes away.

Hey the sound is better! Not clipping out like crazy anymore. I'm going to take credit. You're all welcome. The sound is great! The rest of the broadcast is an abject disaster.

92VCUpikapp. So to actually hear the ESPN3 commentators during our broadcasts, you have to turn the volume up to like 26 on my Tv. Freaking go to commercial break, and it’s loud as crap… scares my whole family, dog and likely neighbors. I think our audio portion is broadcasted in 1980’s mono and not stereo.
