I have a Bose 321 system connected to my Direct TV HD with DVR box. At least 4-5 times per week the audio drops off completely. The only way to get it back is to unplug the power to the Bose system and plug it back in again. I have called Bose and after a software upgrade and lots of trouble shooting it is still happening.

The best I can do for you now is when I got my Bose 321 the Optical default setting was for the "TV" input. Hook the optical up, turn on the PS3 and TV and change the Bose 321 to "TV" instead of "AUX." Cross your fingers and hope you get sound. Best of luck to ya.

My concern is the audio for the CBL/TV and my connectons. The BOSE is working well but here are the connections I have used and the different settings.
