I like the 6c33c for the obvious reasons, ruggedness, used in jets, etc, but they say it sounds good as a triode amp. 15w is pretty good as I tend to have fairly efficient speaker pairs at 90db or better. The K&K audio cap coupled version looks good, but is it functional?

Great thread! I'm about to commence a 6C33 SET project using the Borbely design from the Glass Audio article, but going point to point instead of using the kit. I'm a total novice when it comes to building tube amps. Does anyone have any experience with this amp or can offer any advice? Cheers,
