Hi Milen: I found my Sennheiser ME64 produced nice audio levels with the BMCC I tested. Of course, it also sounded much better when connected to the BMCC via a Sound Devices MixPre, as expected. No guarantees, but BMD has received audio-related feature requests from day one for the BMCC, so there's at least a chance a future firmware update ...

Blackmagic Cinema Camera Audio Quality: Using External ...

It would be great if a camera could have a digital audio input, and then you could provide a nice AD as part of your product as well. It really doesn’t harm your audio at all, seemingly. Whatever the frequency of the sound is, it’s below 31hz, and can be lessened by EQ. When you adjust gain levels in camera, it does slightly affect the levels, but it won’t go away until you go completely zero level.

Audio is loud and clear even with the JuicedLink's input gain set low. So the unbalanced set-up works and delivers the same results as the balanced. So then I try it on the BMPCC using the unbalanced stereo out of the JuicedLink. BMPCC set to: Mic at 30% - Ch 2 uses Ch 1 Input. Audio is loud and clear even with the JuicedLink's input gain set low.
