The sound quality of the Dyna Audio BM6As is very full and clean. They represent an accurate portrayal of what is being played and it is nice to be able to get a mix that sounds good on these and that will transfer well to other sets of speakers. The stereo image is more than satisfactory as it...... Read more 0 0 Buy at Sweetwater Anonymous

My BM6A's arrived earlier today, and what can I say? They are absolutely amazing. Beautiful and very natural frequency response. Deep, tight lows. Clear, detailed mids. Absolutely smooth, pristine sound that I could (and I did!!) listen to for hours on end without the slightest bit of fatigue (unlike with other popular monitors).

Dynaudio BM6A MKI - User review - Gearspace.com

The Dynaudio BM6A MKI is a classic in many (dance oriented) studios for good reason. If a mix or kick drum sounds good on these it will sound great in a club sound system. At the same time as being a good reference for mixing, these monitors never get abrasive or fatigueing, except at very loud levels.

When inevitably compared to a pair of NS-10s at the same volume, the BM-6As didn't feel "scooped-out" like some high-end monitors, yet they were not as abrasive as the Yamahas. My only complaint might be that an extra 25-50 watts on the low-end amp would help make the speakers kick in when pushed really loud.

In my last post I reviewed the differences between the Dynaudio BM5A mk II and mk III. Following on from the same review-day at ProLyd in Oslo last spring, I’ll have a closer look at the original Dynaudio BM6A mk I and the brand new BM12A mk III.The BM6A mk I is a much-celebrated monitor through many years.

Its front bass port contributes to the BM 6A's surprisingly powerful low frequencies. Radius edges on the front baffle reduce boundary effects and improve the overall sound quality. And with its elegant matte finish the BM 6A looks every bit as good as it sounds! Precision electronics for the cleanest possible signal

Subsequent BM6A models are made by Dynaudio alone and most people I know prefer the Mark Is, myself included. I started mastering on these speakers and they are great nearfields but once I could afford larger 3 way full range speakers my work has drastically improved and been a lot faster. BM6A. The Dynaudio nearfield experience. The BM 6A features an electronic 4th order phase-aligned crossover with a crossover point at 2.2kHz, which feeds two high performance discrete MOSFET amplifiers rated at 100W each. The low frequency section is driven by a low frequency equalizer offering a choice between extended, critical damped ...
