Re: ATEM Mini Audio Input Hum. Unbalanced audio is susceptible to hum and noise. This can come from ground loops, poor shielding or cables near equipment with transformers and power supplies. If the source is balanced, I recommend an isolation transformer mentioned above keeping the unbalanced part of the system short.

The two inputs labeled Mic are both unbalanced stereo or could be configured 2 Channel Mono. Additionally they could each be configured as Mic at a -55 dBu level or Line at a -15 dBu level. This is basically HiFi levels so they will not take +24 signals. As they are unbalanced, proper use of shielding or transformers is recommended. Stay safe.

59.94p on the ATEM is not 60Hz on the laptop… 29.97p isn’t 30Hz… but 24p is 24Hz. The SDI ports offer zero wiggle room, *but* the HDMI port usually does. I’ve synced a 30Hz laptop to a 29.97 ATEM before. Assuming your ATEM is in fact at 59.94 then I’d say the laptop is just too far out of whack.
