    – I took the basic schematic and breadboard layout from the Beavis Audio page and used it to put together the original circuit. – Added some link wires to a seperate section of the board where I had placed the clipping stage. I included two diode pairs (1N914 and red LEDs) and a stomp switch to select one pair or the other.

Bazz Fuss stupid question - unofficialwarmoth.com

In the schematic for the Bazz Fuss, Beavis Audio suggests that you can make the diode switchable - take it out of the circuit, and it becomes a dirty boost; put it back in, it becomes the fuzz. But I'm not understanding how exactly to do this. I've drawn up (extremely crudely) what seems to me to be the solution, but it is not working.

Bazz Fuss is a good first build; mine, too. I breadboarded it off the Beavis Audio and then just soldered it up just how it looked on a little piece of perf. I doubt there is a better/easier first build. Make sure you come back and tell us how it went! Good luck, Cheers!

Resister Wattage - freestompboxes.org

Hi, I am trying to build the hemmo/christian’s ultra simple bazz fuss circuit as suggested by Beavis Audio as a starter project. It asks for a 10k 1/4watt resister. On a whim I had previously bought some 10k 1/2 watt resisters. Can I use the 1/2 watt

    1) The basic Bazz Fuss: This is the bog standard, bottom of the range Bazz Fuss circuit laid out on the Beavis Board. No control knobs, and only five components including a single solitary diode. 2) The Buzz Fuzz: This is a variation on the Buzz Box which is essentially just two Bazz Fuss circuits in series. with different diodes in the second ...
