Go into Control Panel->Sound and choose your audio device. Select Properties->Advanced. And under "Advanced" set the default format to a 48K sample rate. Then it works. It probably was set to a 44.1K default. Something broke in the ASIO implementation when I installed PT 12.7.1. Like you, my system worked previously.
