Have a project that suddenly decided not to play audio out of the AVID at all anymore. System is an iMac Late 2013. Running 10.14.6. Media Composer 2018.12.12. No external video devices (AJA etc) just audio either out of the built in speakers or hooked up to externals. Quick backstory-. Project A was working fine.

Suddenly, for no reason that I can ascertain, I have no audio in the headphones or during playback of a recorded track. I can see the meters moving in the edit window during playback. The meters move if I tap the mics, but still cannot hear in headphones. I've started a new session- Problem still there. I've checked M Audio Drivers.

If I export sound to WAV format and play on Windows Media Player it is there. However, no sound plays when I am actively recording or when I try to play the recording back in Pro tools. Also, when I try to test the M-Audio driver within control panel nothing plays. It appears there is a problem with the M-Audio driver... Any help??? # 2
