    Media Composer 3.5 now support the of .m2t files. I am now trying to import a collection of 720p30 .m2t files from a JVC GY-HD100. This normally works perfectly when I import .m2t files created from a Canon XHA1 at 1080 60i. However with the 720p footage I start the import and it seem to work fine saying "Fast Importing MPEG file:__"

    1. Open the Console (⌘ + 6) and MC should tell you which clip is bad. More accurately, it'll point you directly to the media (e.g. MXF) that made your export fail. 2. Open that MXF in VLC (http://www.videolan.org/) and locate it in your timeline. Like derDoyle said, it could even be a corrupt transition or effect.

    We got this issue (core consistency check failures) a lot when our TBlocks went bad and corrupted copies of our high rez media. Generally it means media is corrupt. You could try quarantining files by maybe trying to transcode half, and then if it fails half of that, until you narrow it down to the problem clips.
