Re: No Audio Playback in Media Composer. Reply Contact. Try the following. Open Avid and launch a project (any project). Launch the audio tool and try and output tone. If this works, try playing a clip or sequence. You should have audio working for the rest of your session.

Went back to Project A and that audio won't play either now. The audio meter shows there's audio playing and in fact there is a VERY low level of audio coming out of the internal. Calibration tone in Audio Tool has same result, visually looks like audio is playing, but nothing comes out of any speakers. System audio is fine, only issue is AVID.

midi notes not playing back properly - Avid Pro Audio ...

This could be a couple of things - most likely your controller is set to output on multiple zones, thus Pro Tools is recording two MIDI notes for every key press. Turning off mulitple zones should help. Alternately you can set the input to the track to the keyboard and specific MIDI channel you want to record from that keyboard. __________________
