The record volume is way too low (can't hear on playback): I have the Avance AC'97 Audio for VIA built into the Gigabyte GA-7ZXE motherboard but even though the WinXP record AND play "Volume Control" settings are set to the Max (both record and play are maxed out on Volume control, WAV, and Microphone) I can barely hear the recorded wav file afterwards.
