My Audiovox Cruise Control Install: 2001 ST1100 IMHO this is the ultimate farkle. I have never understood why a motorcycle manufacturer can design a long distance machine and not considered placing a cruise control on them. For my 01', I had to do a lot of maintenance this winter and that included a coolant system overhaul.

It operates through friction and pressure, but still allows you full throttle control if necessary. Audiovox used to do a cruise control kit; the CCS100. Unfortunately the factory that manufactured them went out of business, so they are no longer in production and parts are no longer available.

Audiovox Cruise Just curious. I've put these cruise controls on st1100's, st1300's Valkyries and Vstrom 1000's. I've never hooked one up to the tach for RPM sensing. I always use the coil lead with dip switches set for 8k PPM and Sensitivity to medium. Did you connect to the tach or the coil lead?

This is a leftover Audiovox CCS-100 cruise control. I picked up three when they where clearance items at Autozone. One I put on my 1996 Honda ST1100 and one I gave away to a friend. These were a big thing maybe like 15 years ago. It has all the original pieces in there and directions. Never used just tucked away by a hoarder.
