An alternative to wireless to consider is HPNA (ie, phone line based LAN). Currently the performance of the Audiotron with HPNA is probematic. TB is working on correcting the problem, but are having difficulty reproducing the problems inhouse. Ethernet or wireless appear to be the most reliable at this time.

The Audiotron remains, after all these years, clearly an item ahead of it's time. With just a few simple changes, I believe it would be a viable player today. I suggest only the following: 1. Wireless connectivity, and 2. a FLAC codec. (maybe also the ability to have users load other codecs - wma, ogg, etc.)
