The AudioSource 15 is a huge subwoofer, with an amplifier that's way too small. It booms, it WILL shake the glass, it WILL loosen the nails on the siding, but it can't really follow anything tightly, just not enough power to effectively control that much driver area.

The amp on my SW-15 has burned again. I am not sure if I should repair it or not. Audiosource wants $70 plus shipping to Portland would run near $20. So far I did not find any local shop (Chicago burbs) that would repair it locally. I am thinking of getting a new amp.

I've read great things about the Tempest and Dayton DVC drivers, but I want to make sure the Tempest would work with the ported SW-15 cabinet.
