This album has Audioslave written all over it, but has just a taste of some 70's funk or soul. The riffs on this album make me think more of the days of Rage Against The Machine. He uses a lot of heavy raw guitar riffs mixed with a lot of "free hand string muting" (for you guitar players out there). That is something I love.
