Because this component is totally reliant on last.fm's servers being up, any failed attempt to scrobble means that any attempt to try and re-authorise is going to fail for the same reason. It should report any issues in the Console (i've not tested this because I don't use it). I'm pretty sure it reliably caches scrobbles when "offline" so if it happens again, just leave it.

The last time it was updated was 2010 i think and Last.FM has made many large changes since then. My solutions is disabling the plugin, restarting foobar, enabling and putting my password back in before applying and then i submit all the cached tracks. But again, i think the plugin needs to be updated. 3. level 1.

It knocks you out of session after not scrobbling for a certain amount of time. The only remedy I have found is restarting foobar when you notice it is no longer scrobbling, kind of troublesome though if you have an always on setup. 1 level 2 RheingoldRiver Op · 6y Oh that makes sense with my experiences with it.
