We also build all the DD subs there on the same production lines. The baskets for both subs came from the same ben and are identical. The Audioque uses slightly softer spiders and has 6 of them the DD uses 4-5 spiders that are stiffer in compound. Also the motor is different. The Audioque has a much more simple motor than the DD 9500. The Audioque motor won't work with voice coils lower than dual 1.5 ohms, while the DD motor will work with coils as low as dual 0.5's.

All are good subs though. The DD is probably one of the best made subs around but the price is more than you can get for the Audioque. The audioque's are built strong as well and just because some people have never heard about them does not mean they are bad. The audioque copper coil will take about 2000-2500wrms if you know what you are doing.
