Ok so here is the deal with box space. If you run a smaller airspace them you can run more power to the sub because the box helps to keep the subs suspension under control, I have an aq 15 and my box is right at 4 cubes and I ran a kicker 1500.1 to it for a while and it sounded amazing. That is pretty close to the power the aq1200 puts out.
