The m1 was a stronger amp then the M1a. 5% is about the minimum level most bass heads run their amps at and is inaudiable and is considered a "soft" clipp. The actual THD @ 1470 is closer to 3% THD but I rounded up to be on the safe side.

the audioque amp will be plenty of power for 2 L5's. The amp will be of better quality than the subs. The L5's I had actually sounded better than the L7 although not quite as loud. That amp is one of the best car audio bargins that I have ran across. I would not pass it up. I would look for a different set of subs. JMHO
