1. With the 2325 powered off, connect a music player to the Main In jacks. The music player can be a phone. It has to be something with a volume control, because the signal will be going straight to the main amplifiers, bypassing the volume control on the 2325. With the volume on the music player turned all the way down, turn on the 2325.

The Marantz 2325 is repaired and working perfectly. Apparently the problem was the internal Pre/Main switches. It was taking about 2 hours for the dc offset to stabilize until the tech noticed this problem. Sounds wonderful about 10 hours of listening in. If there is a sound difference bewteen the left and right channels, I'm not hearing it.
